Memory Series I.  September.  Jim Roberts Photographs – Photography as Art and in the Service of Memory. A panel on the photographic record of the 1960s as recorded in the Daily Northwestern and beyond, featuring the new NU archival collection Jim Roberts Photographs. Panelists  Jim Roberts (Duke), NU emeritus history lecturer Jeff Rice, NU alumna Nancy Sommers (Harvard) and NU archivist Kevin Leonard – all of them on campus between 1968 and 1972.

Memory Series III.  December.  Leslie M. Harris, Department of History, presented “How the Word is Passed” on the History and Memory of Slavery in the U.S..
